I've been inspired!!!

Kristal over at Good Food, Good Friends, Good Life, had some pretty funny pictures from her wedding. I thought with our wedding anniversary approaching I would find some pretty random, maybe funny, maybe a bit embarrassing pics from our big day in September of 2006...so here goes...

My little sister did the worm on the dance floor twice and ripped her dress, after this pic was taken she realized her bum was being exposed in the back....too shay!!

Rooms I love.....

Lately I have been addicted to look at rooms to get a feel of what my decorating style is and what I want for our future hypothetical home. I am not into all white/light homes, too bland for me! I need some texture and color in my home! I have no problem having a white wall, but then I NEED colored furniture, something that says someone actually lives here!
Here are some amazing rooms I have found!

I love this space! I love the storage in the desk and I already have a ladder shelf!

B and I discussed it last night and my first project when we move is an upholstered headboard!

Ideas....ideas...

Brendan and I are getting ready to make the big move back to Iowa! Go Hawks! We are moving into a town home that boasts 2 beds, 2 baths and a partridge in a pear tree...I couldn't resist! Anyway, we will now have a breakfast bar as I like to call it and we are in the market for a headboard for our bed....
So where else would I go but Target! I found some great bistro/pub chairs that I really like, but I'll have to sell B on them!
First, I like these because they won't stick out from under the bar and wouldn't take up extra space in the hallway passing the kitchen.

Ok really loved these, but of course, they are no longer available!

My quest continues....I should probably see the place before I buy anything!!!

After typing that, I have now found another option...and it's cheaper...bonus!

I am in the market for a suit. I have never owned a nice one before and I think it is about time I get one. I am going to start interviewing for a new job and hopefully a pretty permanent position once we move back to Iowa and I need to wear a suit to the interview. What I am excited for this fall.....

I can't tell you how excited I am getting for fall! I love being able to wear jeans, layer my sweaters and throw on my favorite boots with some tights and a chic dress! Brendan and I are also avid Iowa football fans and love tailgating! We are also getting ready for the big move back to Iowa this fall....it's coming up way too quickly! Lastly, Brendan and I will celebrate 2 wonderful years together on September 30th!!! Time flies when you're having fun! I've thrown in some pictures that remind me of fall.....I can't wait! Happy Friday!


I love this sweater! I would look fab with a long sleeved shirt layered under it!I love wearing jeans, especially dark trouser jeans!!!

We are getting "new" furniture for our guest bedroom! We got some furniture from a family member and it's a lovely 80's style stain and my mom and stepdad said that they would like to have it refinished for us as a house warming gift!! WOOHOO!!

We love tailgaiting....what can I say! That's not Brendan, it's my brother!

We get to celebrate 2 wonderful years of marriage together! It seems like it was just yesterday that this day happened!
