B and were generously given our bedroom furniture by my parents. It's been a few years since they gave it to us and to be honest it's in great shape, all wood and not to mention really heavy to move, but it's a honey color and not my style. So I have decided to refinish it and give it a face lift!
I am planning on replacing the honey color with black and switching out the wood hardware with some brushed nickel ones. Similar to these...

Can't wait to see what they look like! Did you pick a color yet? (I'm guessing you decided to stick with black?)
I am excited to see what you do. Mr. McB and I did the same. His parents gave us wonderful furniture, but it was definitely not our style. We we refinshed it black with very similar hardward. Tip:we got our hardwared in a pack at Target. It was much cheaper that way.
Absolutely beautiful.!! One of the areas in the house that requires details and careful selection of furniture pieces is the bedroom.
