Do-it-yourself project #3

A few weeks ago B got this great idea to create cornhole boards. So he got to work and has had to take some breaks due to work, etc. Well they are finally complete, just waiting for us to play! If you don't know what cornhole is, HERE are the official rules.....

Anyway, back to the boards. B has done a great job and I personally think they look amazing!!

Primer on....

First coat of Hawkeye yellow...

All done....

We got the graphic off of one of the blankets we have and made a stencil of it. B then made the I-O-W-A out of a do-it-yourself stencil and painted it on. This weekend we will be playing bags at the lake.

We also ordered bags off the internet. If you make them the stitching tends to come loose and beans go all over your dirveway. Here are the bags we bought. In Hawkeye Gold and black!

Ryan built cornhole boards a couple of years ago too! He primed them but we still haven't committed to painting them yet. Yours look great!

We have played this game for years, but I have never heard of it being called cornhole. We simply call it bean bag toss, but cornhole sounds much more interesting. :)
He did an awesome job!
