Weekend wrap-up

This past weekend we headed to my parents lake house. We knew it was going to be hot and humid and we couldn't think of a better place to be.

Our weekend started with B moving this vehicle from the backyard to the other side of the street.

My parents are having work done on their beach and the guy moving the rocks forgot to move his tractor. My mom being the ever present optimist she asked B, can you move it? He jumped on that one like white one rice... Sure! He then got the side eye from me. He's never moved heavy machinery. He however did a great job, there were only a few apple tree branches that were casualities. All standing structures stayed in tact, and B had a very happy mother-in-law.

The next day it was hot, hot, hot! So we started the day with a boat ride. Drew had his very first boat ride!

He didn't even mind the life jacket that looks like it could swallow him and he slept the whole boat ride.

We then played in the blow-up pool with the kiddos. Yes I am referring to Drew and Ruby. They both loved it

We then tried a floaty. This did not go over so well, as documented.

The little man was tuckered out after swimming so he needed a rest, a bottle and some cuddles from daddy.

After a nap we hung out under a great shade tree and we had a new milestone come about for Drew.

He can now roll back to belly all by himself. At first he was a bit tentative, but now he's getting the hang on being on his tummy more and more.

I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing weekend! Here's to a happy and healthy week ahead!
