In a few weeks we are heading to the beach for a little getaway prior to Peanut arriving. I am in need of some suggestions on your favorite books currently. I am awful about reading these days, well anything other than a blog or local paper. I'm a huge fan of history is that helps, and anything biographical is always a hit with me. Can you say history DORK! I'm also needing some great songs to download to my ipod, I'm so behind these days, I'm out of the loop. So help a girl out, what are your favs?

and right now I'm reading State of Wonder by Ann Patchett and really like it so far!
I really loved "The Island" by Victoria Hislop. It is set in Greece and involves a family and a leper colony on a Grecian island. I'm also a giant fan of Kate Morton, but in my opinion, they are a little too-wordy for a beach vacation read.
