Our visit to the Pumpkin Patch

Friday evening we trotted on over to a lovely little pumpkin patch in our neck on the woods. This is the second year that we have taken Drew to Uncle Bill and Carol's Pumpkin Patch. The weather was great, cool, but we bundled up and had a great time.  Drew was fascinated with feeding and watering the goats.  I joked with Brendan that we should get him a goat for Christmas..Hardy, har, har... He didn't think I was too funny.  I personally think I'm hilarious.....I digress, the pumpkin patch offered a straw barn, corn bin, mini tractors the whole shabang but Drew really was only interested in two things; feeding the goats and the tractor ride to pick out our pumpkins.  He did have a blast doing both of those things however and kept talking about it to everyone we ran into the rest of the weekend.

Time to go feed some goats

Making sure the goats don't get thirsty.

Drew was also smitten with the donkey named Lilly

Kate seemed to like the pumpkin patch.

Time for a tractor ride!

Drew was in heaven, so many tractors to look at!

Time to find the perfect pumpkin.

"Mommy, I like dat one"

With our perfect pumpkins in tow we headed home and Drew proudly posed for a photo opp with his new prized possessions.

Happy fall to you and your family!  Are any of you heading out to local pumpkin patches?
